Today was Microsoft's launch of office 365. For Those organizations that are invested in BPOS Microsoft has provided a site with resources for transition. in reviewing the planning phases of transition - Microsoft anticipates the planning and preparation activities to take anywhere from 3 to 6 months. It's not clear if this takes into account the backlog that will be produced as existing BPOS clients embark on this endeavor. It will also be interesting to see how the 12th largest state and public sector organization is to move forward with BPOS for 33,000 state users. |
